Friends in the UK, the book will be available on June 18, and friends in Australia and New Zealand, you’ll be able to get your hands on it starting June 30.
Since it dropped last week, I’ve gotten so many messages from people across the globe, sharing photos of their kids reading my book. And boooy, did my heart melt!
My cousin in Sacramento, Christine, told me that her son, Logan, has read it twice, and that his classmate also got a copy. Then, from a little nook at an Indigo, my friend, Jihan, sent updates that her daughter, Faisah, was already reading Chapter 8 before she could go to the counter, pay for the book, and leave the store. My high school bestie, Diane, in Utah, keeps ending up in a tug-of-war with her son, Eon, so that they can read it. And over here in Manila, my friends Carlos, Idah, and Zel got their copies a little earlier than the rest of the country since they pre-ordered online.

It’s been so cool seeing you guys with my book. It honestly hasn’t completely sunk in yet, since I have yet to see it on the shelf of my local bookstore, but that day is right around the corner. Book 1 of Squalo & Mage was in the works for about 5 years, an incredibly long time frame that shouldn’t have been that long. But with the love and support my family and friends gave me through my grief, motherhood, and mental health issues, I was able to power through and give you guys a book I am crazy proud of! We’re nowhere near done. The adventure continues. Book 2 is coming soon! And I promise, it won’t take another 5 years. See ya in Mundo! 💫✨
